City Hall Phone Poll

And I thought that I was going to have a quiet Saturday morning...

I haven't written that fast and furious since Graduate School.

Got a call this morning from Western Research and was asked to participate in a Phone Poll.

Here are the questions (and sorry if I didn't get everything down exactly):

1. What's the most important issue in Newport Beach
2. Is the City of Newport Beach on the right track (in general)
3. What kind of job is the Mayor and City Council doing.
4. Have I heard of the following people and what is my opinion of them (Very Favorable, Favorable, Somewhat Unfavorable, Very Unfavorable or No Opinion)
    • Marian Bergeson
    • Bill Ficker
    • Greenlight Committee
    • Debra Allen
    • Jean Watt
    • Mayor Steve Rosansky
    • Allan Beek
    • the Daily Pilot
    • Don Webb
    • Phil Arst
    • City Hall in the Park Committee
    • Parks are Priceless Committee
    • Keith Curry
    • the Irvine Company
    • Ed Selich
5. Regarding the February Ballot Measure of the City Hall in the Park, will you be voting yes or no.
6. Why No or Yes
7. Statements from NB Residents (Agree or Disagree)
    • We shouldn't move City Hall
    • City Hall needs to be Centrally Located
8. Info on City Hall (Support or Not Support)
    • Ballot Initiative for the City Hall in the Park
    • Current City Hall cannot accommodate current Employees
    • Tsunami is coming
    • City Hall in the City Center would eliminate the vulnerabilities of the current site.
    • If the Measure passes, the costs would be higher.
    • The Irvine Company alternative site would be $15 million dollars cheaper.
    • In the current location, condos or a hotel would be built.
    • Because it is a ballot measure, an Environmental Impact Report would not have to be completed.
9. Which opinion do you have regarding the City Hall
    • Leave it where it is.
    • City Hall on the Park
    • the Irvine Company proposed location
    • Unsure.
Wow, that was a lot of questions.

If you get a call from an Unavailable Caller ID Number, pick it up.

You may be a "chosen" one...
