HA! That would be like asking the SEC to consider anyone
else but them...worthy! Their choice of Ohio State vs.
LSU....for Number ONE and TWO sets the tone! Obviously,
LSU is going to beat Ohio State. Could LSU beat Oklahoma?
Probably not! Could LSU beat Kansas....probably not!...
At any rate....the slap in the face to USC is overwhelming.
USC vs. Missouri would have been a great game. USC vs Georgia
would have been a great game. USC vs. Virgina Tech, West
Virginia, Hawaii or even Florida.....would have been huge
games! Ah, but because Appalachy State beat Michigan.....
we have to play Illinois? If we lose that game it will be
the worst defeat in the Pete Carroll era. When we win that
game......it will be cast as a no-brainer Las Vegas point
spread issue! It will really be interesting to see how many
points we will be favored by. 7 or 8 or 10 or 20 or what?
So far the biggest viewing numbers will come from Hawaii vs.
Georgia and Kansas vs. Virginia Tech! Wisconsin vs Tennessee
might be good as well. Who will get the best ratings? Will
you even watch Ohio State vs LSU? The Penn State vs Texas A&M
could be OK..we will have to see.
So, who could USC beat out of this group? Name 'em! As they
used to say before computers..Liars figure but figures don't
lie! Fight On! Beating those "Fighting Illini" is our first
cabin priority..we will need to beat LSU lamentably due to
BCS political nonsense...some other time..darn it!
