Congressman Rohrabacher on President Bush

Before redistricting, Congressman Dana Rohrabacher had parts of Newport Beach in his District. But now Huntington Beach gets to feel proud that their Congressman just doesn't go with the flow (not that I'm not proud of our very practical and cost-efficient, but very safe, Congressman John Campbell).

Never afraid to speak his mind, the latest quip from Congressman Rohrabacher deals with President Bush's acceptance of China's Communist Premier's (when did Communists get Presidents) invitation to the Beijing Olympics next year saying:

“If this were 1936, would President Bush be anxious to sit next to Adolf?” Rohrabacher said in a statement e-mailed out this afternoon. “The president’s presence in the Communist party’s skybox is certainly contradictory to his so-called commitment to democracy in the Middle East or his emotional expression of concern over the genocide in the Sudan.”

You gotta love Dana's quotes.
