Dear Journalists,

I would like to bring a serious problem to your attention
that is occurring in the Newport Beach Community. Below is
a letter I sent to the City Council. I also sent the same
letter to the City Planning Commission. Attached is a chronology
of our family’s horrific experience at Narconon Newport Beach.
I think you can greatly help to address this problem by
providing the community and the nation with this information.
You can call me at ***-**-****.

Thank you!

Subject: Narconon

Dear City Council Member,

My name is ******** and I live in Silver Spring, Maryland
(outside of Washington D.C.). I would like to bring to your
attention a very disturbing experience our family had in your
community. Our daughter was enrolled in a drug treatment
facility called Narconon at Newport Beach. Attached is a letter
describing this horrific experience! In a very short period of
time, we lost $29,000 (college money) and my daughter continues
to suffer emotional pain. I have spoken with other parents
around the country and neighbors in your community. I was shocked
to find out that the problems from this criminal activity are
well known to the local government. Narconon is a business that
takes advantage of parents during a vulnerable period, causes
major harm to young people, and has compromised the peace and
equanimity of the surrounding community. In fact, the impact
of this pathology reaches across America. We have had enough
of this greed and corruption that permeates our communities
and damages our children and families!

Why is Narconon allowed to continue to operate? What do you
plan to do to eradicate this cancer in your community? If
you have known about this, how can you sleep at night? I beg
you to declare all out war on these “criminal cash cows” and
either properly regulate them or shut them down! This greed
and corruption will bring us all down if it is not stopped!
Please ACT!

Thank you,
