The Secret To A Successful Internet Business

By Nick Bayley, CEO, MYeMetrics

Can you handle the truth about an Internet business?

Keep reading if you can.

Running an Internet business can be tough. It can take long hours to get things setup and running smoothly and sometimes the rewards can be very small to start with. But the payoffs can be huge and ongoing if you set things up right and test and track everything.

To get to that point though, you must have BIG goals. If you’re slaving away working 16 hour days to put food on the table you need to see an end in sight, because you can’t do that forever.

If you look at every huge success in business whether that is offline or online you’ll find one common element. They all worked very, very hard.

To become an overnight success you must work very, very hard.

And you can quote me on that. :)

When you see those 'get rich quick' schemes it’s very easy to get sucked into them, because who really wants to work 16 hour days. That’s not fun. It’s much more fun to be goofing off on the beach and making a fortune.

But anyone who is actually doing that at some point worked very, very hard.

So if you’re working hard at the moment you’ve got to see some light at the end of the tunnel.  And that, for you, has to do with your BIG goals and dreams, along with testing and tracking.

You’ve got to be working towards something because if you’re not you may as well get a regular job. You have to be testing and tracking what you’re doing so you can try to improve your results.

When you set goals you should set long term, medium term and short term goals. When you’re working on the Internet these should be shorter periods than off-line goals because things change so fast. So your short term goals should be 1 – 6 months. Your medium term goals should be 6 months to 3 years. And your long-term goals should be 3 – 6 years.

You should setup your goals as guiding posts, however. Don’t set hard and fast goals and be shattered if you don’t reach them. A goal is simply a target. If you give 100% towards reaching a goal but find in the process it’s not what you want anyway then don’t feel bad about it.

Life is about learning and trying to improve. As long as you learn from what you have taken action on, and try to improve next time, then you will be moving forward.

A lot of people get so caught up in setting goals and planning for their achievement, and then take little action to get close to their goal. Instead you should set a goal pretty quickly, plan a little bit and then take massive action.

Then you need to test and track your progress towards your goals. I struggled with this for many years, and it wasn’t until I setup my own solution did I truly get testing and tracking and the amazing power it has to transform your online business.

I have a free video for you to watch so you can see this service in action and what it can do for your Internet business. To see the video simply go here:
