Councilmember Gardner's August News

I must have been taken off her email distribution list...but Councilmember Nancy Gardner has her August 2007 newsletter out. Nothing too ground shaking, as compared to the war of the Press words between Mayor Rosansky and Councilman Curry, but interesting nonetheless. Especially Nancy's revelation (right word?) that she's getting a steady stream of emails wanting to know why the current City Hall location isn't in play. Councilwoman Gardner then goes and says that in regards to the City's important documents "all of our records are archived off site, so no matter where we end up, in the event of a disaster they will be safe." Hmmmm.

Only the City Employees would be lost...hmmmm.

What happens to the Pension (funded or unfunded) Liability if all the City Employees perish in a Tsunami?
