Ready for Google’s Chrome Laptops? Sale in June 2011. Google does not seem to stop release its newest innovation. In addition to product launches google android product, google launches as well google’s chrome laptops. This computer called a Chromebook. Samsung and Acer will begin selling notebook PCs running Google’s Chrome OS in June, as Google presses ahead with its project to position this new operating system designed specifically for Web applications as a viable option for consumers and businesses.
Google Chrome Laptops Due in June 2011
The Chromebooks, named after Google’s Chrome operating system, will store all of a user’s data and the computer’s software online. Instead of desktop software like Microsoft Word or iPhoto, people use Web-based software like Google Docs, Microsoft Office 365 or Picasa. Google’s strategy is to go after businesses and schools first.
Although so far the Chrome OS had been described as built for netbooks, Sundar Pichai, Google’s senior vice president for Chrome, stayed away from that term, referring to the machines as “notebooks” and “Chromebooks.”
