Van represents a small part of Newport Beach, but I don't think the Pacific Club sits in that part. I suppose he'll have another birthday celebration in his own District...
I also received a fax announcing a Lincoln Club of Orange County (the error page is also what I got for their calendar) event with US Senator John Sununu (R-New Hampshire) also at the Pacific Club.
Problem is, there's no date listed on it...
Although, the VIP Reception starts at 11:15 am, with a 12:00pm lunch and forum.

UPDATE - 45 minutes later...they caught their mistake. The U.S. Senator John Sununu/Lincoln Club event is Tuesday, October 9.
