The power of mobile...

Mobile marketing can be a very powerful way to build your business, but unfortunately most people have no clue how to use it effectively. The vast majority of people aren’t using mobile marketing at all, and those that do are typically not using it correctly.

As I mentioned before, it’s a bad idea to send direct marketing messages. People aren’t going to want to pay for a text message that is nothing but a sales message, which is why it’s *vitally* important to provide value in your messages.

Now, if you want to increase traffic then its best to use subject lines which compel the reader to want to open the message in the first place. Think of your subject as your headline, where it needs to grab attention and get people excited to read the rest of your message.

Along with a compelling subject you also want to incorporate a clear call to action. Don't assume people know what you want them to do, and instead tell them *exactly* what you want them to do. Whether you want them to visit a web page, reply back to your message, or simply come by your store, either way you've got to tell them what you want them to do and be very 'to the point' and clear with your direction.

Getting others to "spread the word" about what you have to offer is also an effective way to build your mobile business. This form of "Viral marketing" is very powerful, whereas you encourage your readers to text their friends with your offer. If your offer is something of value that would be of interest to your prospect, chances are they will want to tell their friends. We cover this in more detail in the training here:
